In the check register data found on the official Surfside Beach website there used to be a four digit identifier that would allow the
viewer reasonably guess with department used the credit card to purchase products and services. It now has been determined by someone that doesn't like transparency that the last four numbers of a credit card, if known, poses a security risk.
